Core objective of the program are :
1. Leverage the Girl Icon Network to build awareness and support structures in the communities. Remember, the biggest weapon to fight COVID is awareness led precautions. Over the last 5 years, Milaan has build an extensive Girl Icon Network of Girl Leaders, women field workers and community based organisations.
2. Support district level community health workers with essential medical material such as hand-wash, sanitisers, N-95 masks and educational material to create awareness in communities.
3. Financially support daily wage community workers, 80% of these workers are women who in majority of the scenario are the sole bread-earners in their communities.

Help Trans community in their fight against Corona: there are millions of marginalized Indians existing without this safety net that most of us take for granted. The trans community is one such section of society that is at the front lines of this crisis, and is staring at one of the most difficult times ahead. With most people from the community working in the unorganized sector, the trans community is are now facing a direct threat to life with little to no welfare benefits. This community includes manual laborours and blue-collar workers who have to travel to public, crowded spaces for work.
Zomato has initiated the ‘Feed the Daily Wager’ project to provide food support to such families and to help them have a reliable supply of meals in the absence of employment opportunities.
Helping to provide a safety net to casual labour families. We aim to directly support these families by providing a minimum wage in cash, hopefully with your support till the virus abates and they are in employment again.
