Friends, as you may be aware, we are all working towards providing relief to the underprivileged and most affected by the outbreak of COVID-19. We started this initiative with our own resources and then were joined by several good samaritans who came forward to offer help.
But as was foreseeable, this crisis is not something which a few hands alone can battle. In order to sustain this initiative of providing food, rations and medicine to the lesser fortunate, we need your help. You can donate ration, essential supplies or money, whichever means is convenient. No contribution is too small. If you want us to pick up ration or medicines from somewhere, we can do that too. Our team of over 50 volunteers is working on the ground - collecting, packing and distributing food to all those who need help. And in ensuring that these efforts do not go compromised, we ask for the generosity of all our capable friends.

Since the day of identification of the first patient of Covid-19 in India, we sprung in action and started organizing awareness campaigns in the NCR region on a regular basis. We have a very strong trained team of Lab Technicians and team of Doctors with us. Sensing the gravity of the situation, arising due to Corona, we have started giving special training to our Lab technicians about Corona virus, who could perform proper screening and tests too once equipped with testing kits.

Core objective of the program are :
1. Leverage the Girl Icon Network to build awareness and support structures in the communities. Remember, the biggest weapon to fight COVID is awareness led precautions. Over the last 5 years, Milaan has build an extensive Girl Icon Network of Girl Leaders, women field workers and community based organisations.
2. Support district level community health workers with essential medical material such as hand-wash, sanitisers, N-95 masks and educational material to create awareness in communities.
3. Financially support daily wage community workers, 80% of these workers are women who in majority of the scenario are the sole bread-earners in their communities.

We need your help to battle COVID19. Since the outbreak, we at Pallium India have prioritized responding to this pandemic over all other activities. Our home care teams along with 12 Social Workers (some of whom worked with us years ago and have now stepped forward in an amazing show of solidarity) are triaging all our existing 1350 unique patients, who make up the most vulnerable cohort in this crisis - the ailing, the alone, the elderly and the impoverished.
Teams were deployed to deliver rations and medicines for the forthcoming weeks to all our beneficiaries. At the cusp of implementation, the nation was put under a 3-week lockdown. We didn't have the luxury of stopping work; we pivoted and stepped it up. In the coming days, we will leverage technology to monitor all of them, and take on others who need our care. We are setting up a helpline for clinical and emotional support. Teams are on standby to reach those who may require on-site symptom control or need to be brought into our facility for appropriate end of life care. This is for our patients who already have advanced serious illnesses and may not be able to access healthcare facilities at this time due to the lockdown. We commit ourselves to the highest standards of safety while delivering care. A task force comprising of two doctors, a public health specialist, a community outreach coordinator, a physiotherapist, a psychologist and a tech expert are leading the charge from within our organisation. Guided and advised by experts, they are keeping up with the latest advisories, guidelines and information – distilling what is most relevant, to create appropriate strategies and rapidly implement them.
Our Chairman is part of an advisory group for the government of Kerala, and is constantly in touch with them. We're documenting our processes and systems to let others readily replicate. Most importantly, we're planning beyond prevention - to management and bereavement. No one accurately knows how bad this will get, but we do know that Pallium India is committed to providing optimum support to communities, care providers, the healthcare system and government. We are building on our expertise and network and are privileged to have a dedicated group of health care workers who, in spite of much anxiety about their own families, are stepping forward, showing up and carrying on. In the face of unprecedented challenges, lack of timely resources can be crippling. Any contribution you make to our COVID19 response fund will help us do more and do better.

In this time of crisis, while most of us can be indoors and work from home, we have a force of over 200 waste pickers from the informal sector who step out every day to earn a livelihood and keep our city clean and hygienic. This is the time to rise together to help those who work for us in these challenging time. Our Kachra Vechaks work in our Material Recovery Facilities and rely heavily on the daily incoming waste to sort and sell to scrap dealers. With the lockdown and limited access to waste, their daily income has already been hit. They need this daily income to support their families. They are exposing themselves to the risk of getting infected by stepping out.
Support our Kachra Vechaks in Aurangabad by providing essential household supplies @ Rs. 3000 per family of 4 for 1 month. This equals to Rs. 750/week per family, which is Rs. 20 per person per day. We will be providing Kachra Vechaks with the following: Wheat - 35 KG Bajri - 10 KG Rice - 5 KG Sugar - 3 KG Salt - 1 KG Channa Dal - 1 KG Masoor Dal - 1KG Peanuts - 1 KG Rai - 100 GM Jeera - 100 GM Chilly powder - 200 GM Kirti Gold Oil - 4 Nos Parachute oil - 200 GM Colgate - 200 GM Soap - 3 Nos Wheel Soap - 2 Nos Tea leaves- 250 GM Nirma Powder - 500 GMS

EMPF has identified 223 vulnerable families of Bihar, who are in dire need of ration and other sanitation equipment.
We work directly with the marginalized in various states in India. The immediate lockdown by the government has led the marginalized population of Bihar as well as the migrant families at the verge of hunger and lack of basic necessities. The Government has announced several benefits for the families but most of these families will not be able to furnish the documents required by the government. EMPF is focusing in bringing together resources to support the most vulnerable in whichever means possible. There are three areas it has identified in providing:
1. Food – Providing Ration packets (5kg Rice, 5kg Wheat, 2kg Pulses, 1ltr Oil, 1 kg Salt, Mixed Masala and 1kg Sugar- monthly packet) for the most vulnerable families for at least three months. In particular those who are left with no income since the sole earning member of the family is in another state, unable to access resources.
2. Sanitation – Provide Masks, Gloves, Hand Sanitisers, Soaps and other sanitation equipment for those living in clusters and unable to access sanitation material. Provide women with Sanitary Napkins and Pregnant women with access to better nutritional health and sanitation.
3. Health – Provide access to urgent healthcare facilities in case of persons who are unable to sustain themselves are in need of urgent medical attention. In particular families who have been unable to gather resources for healthcare.

India is a land of many arts (Block prints, embroideries) - however, our artisans (a majority of it), live a hand to mouth lifestyle. The current COVID-19 condition has unfortunately, rendered some of our artisans with the bare necessities, that might not last for very long. Now, the lack of orders or sales in the next month (at least) is a cause for concern. Any money donated here, will be sent to the most struggling artisans in need for their survival, and the survival of their art.

During this pandemic of COVID-19, with lockdown and physical distancing, the most affected are the most vulnerable in our society - sex workers and transpeople.Help Support a Rs 2000 monthly package for 500 homes of sex-workers and transpeople in Karnataka.
Support this campaign and share it with friends.
As the nation enters into a 21-day lockdown to flatten the curve of #CoronaVirus transmission, many daily wage workers and workers of the unorganized sectors have lost their livelihood. Unlike many of us, they cannot work from home. Our claps alone will not keep them afloat through the crisis. They'll need food, medicines, shelter and more.
Through this campaign, a comprehensive list of people who need support in the Chandigarh/Tricity region, along with CSA workers will be compiled and provided with a minimum relief amount of INR 3000/per month, or more depending upon their circumstances and needs.
With the lockdown, almost everything has been stopped and most people working from home, the earnings of rickshaw-pullers, taxi drivers, construction workers have dried up. A group of volunteers is raising funds to help the families of daily wage workers from Kolkata who do not have the money to afford their daily food and basic necessities. Make a contribution and spread the word.
Lakhs of people are facing a humanitarian crisis because of the #COVID19 related lockdown that has brought work to a grinding halt in what is a major industrial hub of the NCR. Earnings have disappeared overnight and with that, the spectre of hunger is hanging over the entire #Gurgaon district. Contribute generously to make sure rations reach the daily-wage workers and their families in Gurgaon.
Many of us are privileged enough to work from home and get paid. With a three week national lockdown to break the cycle of Corona Virus pandemic, many daily-wage labourers would be devoid of food and basic necessities like medicines, shelter, etc. Please help us raise funds for the daily-wage workers of Hyderabad.
Waste Pickers cannot work from home. They collect the city's waste and protect our health. Please contribute for the waste pickers of #Pune and #PimpriChinchwad
In light of the #COVID19 outbreak, and the accompanying insecurity it brings in, informal workers, their work and their living conditions have become even more insecure and precarious. Especially vulnerable among them are waste pickers, particularly those who have advocated for their integration in semi-formal and formal Solid Waste Management, systems, and models. What you donate will help provide waste pickers with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep them safe as they continue to work. Ration kits can be provided to waste pickers and their families as many of them may lose out on income or find it difficult to access rations during this time.
Aashray Adhikar Abhiyan run Night Shelters which provide the Homeless people with shelter, medical facilities and many more but during ‘Janta Curfew’ most of the eateries are likely to be closed through the day. The Homeless are those vulnerable and marginalised group of people who are faceless and countless. They suffer a lot during the pandemic situation and finds themselves helpless. Aashray counts them and consider them as resident and citizen of our country. Every Life is important for us. During the Curfew, we are providing them with shelter, food, medicine and other sanitisation material that will help them in leading their healthy life and save them from this pandemic situation of Corona.
Only make commitments that you can and will deliver. We are delivering food and hygiene material to our shelter users. Through your contributions, we can better their life and make their stomach full.
While the country is taking various measures to limit the spread of infection, it is extremely important for all of us to join together in a mission to protect those who are the most at risk – our elders. At Emoha, elders come first and their wellbeing is our topmost concern.

Help Trans community in their fight against Corona: there are millions of marginalized Indians existing without this safety net that most of us take for granted. The trans community is one such section of society that is at the front lines of this crisis, and is staring at one of the most difficult times ahead. With most people from the community working in the unorganized sector, the trans community is are now facing a direct threat to life with little to no welfare benefits. This community includes manual laborours and blue-collar workers who have to travel to public, crowded spaces for work.
We have estimated 800-1000 families in slums of Malvani and Govandi who have absolutely no support. We will provide them support in form of packages of food and other essential items.
