In this time of crisis, while most of us can be indoors and work from home, we have a force of over 200 waste pickers from the informal sector who step out every day to earn a livelihood and keep our city clean and hygienic. This is the time to rise together to help those who work for us in these challenging time. Our Kachra Vechaks work in our Material Recovery Facilities and rely heavily on the daily incoming waste to sort and sell to scrap dealers. With the lockdown and limited access to waste, their daily income has already been hit. They need this daily income to support their families. They are exposing themselves to the risk of getting infected by stepping out.

Support our Kachra Vechaks in Aurangabad by providing essential household supplies @ Rs. 3000 per family of 4 for 1 month. This equals to Rs. 750/week per family, which is Rs. 20 per person per day.
